We have been very blessed (spoiled) with a great house here in Costa Rica. It is very open with lots of natural light. The best part is it has a front yard, a side yard, and a back yard where the children can play outside! This is truly a luxury here in San Jose. We also have a garage that is a great place for the kids to play when it is raining.
There aren't mailing addresses here like we have in the States. We do have a street name, but no one knows it. In fact, they recently put up street signs in our neighborhood. Each house doesn't have a house number. So how does one find a house or send mail to it? With a very long description: Our address is as follows: 50 meters south of the George Angulo Gym, on the right side, red house with a yellow wall and black fence. This is the reason why houses here are brightly painted!
Enjoy some pictures of where we have been living for 9 months:
| Our house from the street - see the red house, yellow wall, and black gate! We feel very safe and secure here. |
| Front of the house with the garage on the right side. |
| Looking into the garage and into the side yard. |
| Living room with dinning room down the hall on the left. |
| Looking down the hallway where the 3 main bedrooms are and YES the TV is that small! |
| Our kitchen - very large for a CR kitchen, but very lacking in counter space! |
| The master bedroom. |
| Juliana's room. The crib is another huge blessing, since most houses don't come with a crib. |
| Nathan's room- 1 bed for sleeping and 3 others for playing. |
| Dining room - looking out into the back yard |
| On the back patio looking into the back yard. |
So as you can tell, we have been blessed beyond anything we could have imagined with our house here in Costa Rica.
Lisa that house looks great! God is so good. Just commenting to let you know we are here!
