Life in Costa Rica: The reason we are here - SPANISH SCHOOL

For anyone just starting to read this blog, the reason we are in Costa Rica is for language school.  We go to school everyday from 7:30 - 12:00.  Jeff has two classes - language and grammar.  Lisa has three classes - language, grammar, and phonics.  (I may write a whole post on my favorite class - phonics.  Too bad you can't hear the sarcasm in my typing!)  We are enjoying the classes and are very thankful for wonderful teachers who are pushing us to learn Spanish.

Juliana and Nathan go to school on the same campus that we go to Spanish classes.

Nathan really enjoys going and playing with all his friends.  He told all his friends that his name is Alshon Jeffrey.  Some of them just call him Jeffrey.  One little guy calls him Awesome Jeffrey!   (For those that don't know - Alshon Jeffrey played for the Gamecocks last year and he is one of Nathan's favorite players.  Alshon now plays pro ball for the Bears.)

Juliana is doing well with going to school.  She still cries most mornings when we drop her off, but her teacher tells us that she only cries for a few minutes.  Every time we pick her up she is happy and playing.  She has the sweetest teacher.  We are so thankful for her!

Hopefully the pictures below will give you an idea about where we go to school.

First Day of School - August 2012

Nathan's job is to close the gates as we leave the house.

This is Juliana's ride to school!

Loving seeing the mountains every morning.
