Mission's Training: Fun Times

Even though we were in class all day, we still had time to play.  One of our favorite parts of being at CIT was living so close to so many wonderful people.  It was refreshing being with people who are traveling on the same missions journey.  Nathan LOVED being able to play all the time with so many children.  He is really missing his CIT friends now that we are back home.  Here are some fun pictures from our time at CIT:

 Nathan loved playing ping pong.

Juliana pushing her stroller in the game room.

Jeff taking a bit of a snooze!

Each week we had a community event where everyone got together to do something.  One of  fellowship times was celebrating Jacob's first birthday.

They did a Ukrainian birthday tradition - the birthday person is lifted up in a chair as many times as they are old.  Jacob got 1 lift!

Everyone enjoying the party.

Nathan having fun with his friends.

One of the missionaries will be going to work in an orphanage.  She wanted to give tie dying a try.  So we all tie dyed some shirts on a Saturday morning.

The finished product

Trying to beat the heat: A home made slip and slide.  Nathan was too scared to go down it.  (I don't blame him.)

Watching a movie in the game room.  Thanks Josh for setting this up!

Nathan with is buddy Daniel.

Pushing the stroller yet again!

Nathan being silly.  For some reason, he wanted to tape his pencils on his face and then play baseball.  Sometimes I just wish I knew what was going on in his head!

This was our last night at CIT.  We were actually celebrating Jeff's birthday.  Here are all the children.   They are a precious group of children and have incredible parents!  You can be praying for this group of soon to be Third Culture Kids (TCKs).  They will be going to Mexico, Ukraine, Haiti, Uruguay, and Sipan.
