Mission's Training: The Pool Saga

One of the great things about CIT is they have an amazing pool!  We really talked this up to Nathan - to get him excited about going.  The first two weeks were great and Nathan really enjoyed swimming most afternoons.

One day, on our way to go swim, we were told the pool was closed.  A pool inspector happened to drive by and saw the pool.  He stopped to give it a quick inspection.  This is the first time it had been inspected in the 60 years the pool has there, because no one knew it was there, and CIT staff didn't realize it needed to be inspected.  There were lots of little things wrong that added up enough to close the pool.  Of course this happened when it was 102 degrees!!!

Some of the parents got together and purchased this pool to help the children have something to keep cool in.

The CIT staff is AMAZING!!!  They worked so hard getting the pool ready for the inspection so it could be opened again.  It was only just a few days later and we could use the big pool again.  Thanks Annie for taking these pictures.
