We had some friends from the language school go into the bull ring to "run with the bulls". One of our friends got close and personal with one of the bulls as it ran him over. We were watching the bull fight on TV looking for our friends. Two of the three guys are in Jeff's classes. When all of a sudden the bull charged and we knew it was our friend Ken. We were able to get a picture of him under the bull. Ken was a new student and had only been in the country for a couple of days. Welcome to Costa Rica!
We did go to the carnival and it reminded us of the state fair. We got there early before the ticket booth was open. Some of the ride operators were super nice and let Nathan ride for free. Juliana didn't want to ride anything! Nathan loved it.
