In November (yes, I realize it is the END OF MARCH - I'm a bit behind on blogging) our agency, World Witness hosted a team retreat for the missionaries in Mexico. They decided to have it here in Costa Rica and allow us and another family with our agency here in language school join them. We went to Arenal, a volcano. When Jeff and I visited Costa Rica 10 years ago, the volcano was active. Now it is dormant. Even though it rained for most of the trip, was too cloudy to see the volcano, and was even a bit cold - the trip was GREAT!!! It was fun being with other missionaries and having some time to relax. The place we stayed was amazing. It was nice to not think about what to cook or having to clean up. Thanks World Witness for a good retreat.

During the retreat, we all kept seeing wild Toucans. Each time, we would try to point them out to Frank, our director from World Witness. He always missed seeing them. While he was in a meeting, we got the best pictures of one. He still doesn't believe us, even after the pictures.
