A visit from my mom and dad

My parents were planning on coming to Costa Rica, but then my dad was laid off from his job and was having a hard time finding another job.  So the trip was put on hold.  My generous grandmother gave them money for the plane tickets for them to come see us.  We were so blessed to have them here with us!

Pappy helping Nathan rock climb
We took them to La Paz Waterfall garden.  One of our favorite places to take people.  We love going there.

Nana had a couple of butterflies land on her.

Juliana checking out the butterfly on Jeff's hat.
Nathan got him a butterfly too!

Getting ready to swing.

Sweet boy!

We then took them to Manuel Antonio.  They were brave and we took them Tico style - in a bus.  We were able to go to the beach, enjoy the pool, and see lots of Monkeys.

We didn't plan on being at the beach at the same time as some of our friends from language school.  But it was great for Nathan to have some of his friends to play with.  He is doing what he loves to do - throw dirt!

These guys were hanging out right outside our window

This monkey too!

And this monkey - oh wait that is Nathan!

We went to a cool restaurant that had this old airplane in it!

Watch out, Juliana is flying the plane

I'm usually behind the camera - so to prove I was really there

Another visitor

And another one.
We had a great time with my parents and very thankful to have some family here for a visit.
