Parque Diversiones - Fun Park

Our school took a "field trip" one Saturday to a local fun park -, kind of like Six Flags, on a much smaller scale!  While usually things in Costa Rica are more expensive than the States, this place was a pretty good deal.  Nathan and Jeff could ride all the rides they wanted all day for $15.00 each.  Juliana and I got in free and didn't ride the rides.  She is still a bit scared of things like that.  Nathan had a blast and really surprised us with how many different rides he tried.  It was also a lot of fun going with so many friends!  Thankful for a fun day, taking a bit of a break from studying Spanish.

Going Up!  Jeff was quite the sport riding the kid's rides.
Nathan with his good friend Lily.  See how they are holding hands!  Lily's mom and dad lived in Columbia, SC for a while, so they are Gamecock fans!  So cool that Nathan has a fellow Gamecock in his class.
Going round and round in the hot air balloons.
Nathan was too young to drive the bumper cars, but sweet Annie was willing to take him for a spin.
Nathan's first roller coaster!
I think he likes it!  Car # 3
Driving the toilet paper truck.
Juliana with her good friend Megan!

Enjoying the park from her stroller.
Paddle Boating
Nathan riding a roller coaster all by himself - he was the only one on the ride.
He's got some mad boating skills!
Going for another roller coaster ride
Juliana and Megan enjoying a little snack before we headed home.
